You know we love shoes and if you didn’t know that, well you do now! We have been mocked by friend and family about the collection we currently own in our closet. With fall here it’s time to do the annual rotation of putting away the summer ones and bringing back the boots. We love this time of the year since it makes us feel like we just went shopping and bought a bunch of new shoes.

One thing I learned while planning our own wedding day is how hard it was to find a pair of bridal shoes to wear on our day. I searched day after day and found a few I liked but many that I didn’t. You have to consider heel height and color. Too tall and you will have a hard time walking and too short and your dress hem won’t lay right. So order a few pairs and have them shipped to your house so you can try them on with your dress. Walk around in them on carpet and see how they feel. If they start hurting right away return them, no matter how much you love them. It’s not worth having foot pain on your wedding day. Also think about a back up pair of comfortable shoes, just as cute flip flops or flats.

Here are a few pairs we are head over heals for.

Nina has a wide variety of formal shoes. These wedges are lovely with gold accents. Find at for only $50.

Stuart Weitzman knows how to dress up your feet. Slip on these show stoppers for around $300-400.

Ahh, the name ladies love to hear, Badgley Miscka. If you are going to splurge then do so with a pair of these elegant black heels with feather accents. On sale at for only $130.

For a dash of bright color we fell for teal green Badgley Miscka Gylda heel. Again head over to for the sale price of $150.

When it’s time to dance and let your feet be free again, try a pair of ornamented flip flops from Nina for only $40-50.

The name isn’t great but they have a wide selection of colors in satin shoes and have been adorning wedding feet for many years. For your something blue find the Luna Coloriffics heel. Regular price $170.

Finally, for a classic shoe that will go with any dress turn to Coloriffics Passion for around $170.
You can find all of these shoes at A great site to find name brands on sale. For a shoe you are only going to wear once why not get a good deal!

This design is wicked! You definitely know how to keep a reader
amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was
almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job.
I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you
    presented it. Too cool!
