Bridal fashion week happened earlier this month in New York and last night I found myself caught up in photo after photo of the latests wedding gown trends from all of the latest Spring 2013 collections. What I loved? Sleeves. Claire Pettibone and Monique Lhuillier had a plethora of sleeves to show off.
Wedding Gown Trends For 2013 – Sleeves
This was found on the Huffington Post. A gorgeous gown from Monique Lhuillier.
I particularly enjoy this one. It has a gorgeous vintage wedding gown appeal and a delicate design. This was also found on the Huffington Post. Designed by a worldwide favorite, Claire Pettibone, the trend for 2013 seems to move towards a more subtle use of color than in collections past. In this wedding gown, Clair Pettibone uses baby blue, blush pink, and olive green.
In addition to sleeves as a 2013 wedding trend, I saw a lot of flowers. On obvious theme for weddings, what I love about this gown is how Claire Pettibone subtly incorporated the flowers into the sheer sleeves and bodice. This wedding gown also has a great vintage feel. This photo is also from Huffington Post.
Here is a sexier wedding gown from Monique Lhuillier. I have to say that I think lace overlays may also be a wedding gown trend for 2013.
